Accessibility
Last updated 27 September 2026
We want MenuJet to work for as many people as possible.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We’re a small, independent team, and we fix issues as we find them. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we keep improving it.
What we’ve done so far
- Pages are marked with the right language, so screen readers pronounce each of the site’s languages correctly.
- Buttons are big enough to tap and work with a keyboard.
- Progress and results are announced to screen readers.
- Uncertain dishes are labeled in words (“Check with staff”), not just by color.
- The “Show staff” screen uses large, high-contrast text.
- Animations calm down if your device asks for reduced motion, and text can be zoomed to 200%.
Known limits
Menus are read by AI from photos and can contain mistakes; uncertain items are labeled. Translating needs a photo, so if you can’t take one, a friend can take it and send you the share link.
Tell us if something’s hard to use
If any part of MenuJet isn’t accessible to you, we want to know so we can fix it. Use the contact form and choose “Accessibility problem”. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
