About MenuJet

Take a photo of a menu. Understand it. Share it. Help the next person.

Most small restaurants and street food stalls don’t have an English menu, because making one is a luxury. MenuJet changes that.

For travelers: photograph any menu and read it in your language: English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Malay, or Khmer. See what’s uncertain, pick your dishes, and show the staff exactly what you want.

For restaurants: photograph your menu, check the translation, and print a bilingual menu with a QR code. Travelers scan it and read your menu in their own language.

MenuJet is a free, independent project. We started in Taiwan and are building it for menus across Asia, with Europe and beyond in mind. It works anywhere there’s a menu. It aims to translate only what the menu says, marks what it can’t read, and keeps the original beside every translation. It uses AI, so mistakes can happen: for allergies or any food needs, always ask the staff.
