How MenuJet works

MenuJet reads a photo of a menu and shows it in your language, next to the original. It runs in your phone's browser. There is nothing to install.

Translate a menu

11 languages: English, Español, 繁體中文, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어, Tiếng Việt, ไทย, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, ខ្មែរ.

Three steps

  1. Photograph the menu

Wall boards, laminated sheets, order forms, handwriting. Add a photo for each page.

  2. Read it in your language

Every dish shows its translation with the original name beside it. Prices stay exactly as written.

  3. Pick and show the staff

Tap what you want. MenuJet shows the staff a large, clear list in their own language, with sizes and choices.

Good to know

  • We mark what we can't read

If part of the photo is blurry, cut off, or covered, the dish says "Check with staff".

  • It's AI, so mistakes happen

MenuJet aims to translate only what the menu says, and we keep improving it, but it can misread or mistranslate.

  • Ask about allergies and food needs

MenuJet is free and can't check ingredients. For allergies or any food needs, ask the staff before you order.

Restaurants with a MenuJet QR code

  • Scan instead of photographing

Some places publish their menu on MenuJet. Scan the sticker and it opens in your language, no photo needed.

  • Checked by people

These menus are checked by the owner or by the MenuJet team, and each one says who.

  • Spot a mistake?

Tell us from the menu page. The restaurant sees it and can fix it.

Your photos and links

  • Deleted after 30 days

Photos from your translations are deleted after 30 days. We don't sell them or use them for ads.

  • Share with your table

Send a private link so everyone can read along. It expires after 30 days.

  • Always free

Try 2 menus straight away. After that, keep going free with Google or your email.
